The first page presents the three main sections of the Site.
The Play section provides a number of Flash-based interactives. In Mix and Match Emotions, users swap eyes and mouths on several protraits to explore how facial expressions convey emotions.
The Ponder section presents articles, videos, and activities engaging users in thinking about issues of the Mind. The video page provides links to lectures and presentations by several leading thinkers.
The At the Museum section presents the exhibits in the Mind collection and upcoming and past events.
The Mind Website showcases the Exploratorium's Mind exhibit collection and presents activities for exploring aspects of attention, emotion and judgment. The Website is comprised of three main sections: Play, Ponder, and At the Museum. In the Play section, users interact with a number of Flash-based interactives and can follow "recipes" for offline activities. Ponder presents articles, videos, and online activities that engage users in thinking about issues of the Mind. The At the Museum section describes the exhibits in the museum's Mind collection, as well as upcoming and past events. A list of resources provides links for further reading and exploration. The Website was originally designed and developed by Chacha Sikes. 3rd Rail Interactive provided additional design, production and programming services to add new features, polish, and finalize the Site for launch.
