The Stagecraft iPhone application is a music festival guide for iPhone and iPod Touch. The automatically updated, customizable schedule lets users quickly pick the bands they want to see (and easily change their mind). The rest of the schedule stays grayed out, or users can choose to hide it completely. Users can view their schedules grouped by time or by stage. Bands currently playing are highlighted, so they can make quick decisions about where to go at a glance. Performer profiles provide descriptions of each performer, including genres and links to more information on the web. A map of the festival grounds shows the stages, concession areas, and toilets. A Web-based administrative utility builds artist profiles by parsing Wikipedia entries for each artist and creates links to the band's official Website, last.fm profile, myspace page, and latest album on iTunes. The utility updates a SQLite database, which is then imported into the application.
