The Watch, The Thief, The Hand, and The Wallet
Users combine video clips of the same event shot from different angles. The result appears on a television, and an armchair makes the user feel at home.
The touchscreen interface presents the different camera angles in a 7x7 grid, and users select one of 7 angles from each column.
The Watch, The Thief, The Hand, and The Wallet is a museum exhibit exploring how perspective and context affect interpretation. Users combine video clips of the same event—the theft of a wallet—shot from different angles. By changing the camera view, users can construct the scene in such a way that different people appear guilty of the theft.
