Users control state of the art, research-grade microscopes and multimedia content to explore Microscopic life. The kiosk has two screens: one to present the live image from the microscope, and another for the interactive interpretive multimedia. The kiosk is located directly under a large window through which users can view the microscope they are controlling.

technical: The interpretive multimedia was developed in Director, and communicates with the Microscope through a serial interface.
